whee. today i went for lunch with my mom and auntie shanti! at delifrance again! i luv their green pea soup! whee yayy! so fun. auntie shanti is really amusing. (: >< haha. and then we went shopping! at raffles city! woot. i like that place too! and it's very glitzy around this time of the year (: haha.
and the body shop there is like one of the few special branches that sell the vanilla spice series! haha but i still like cranberry. oooh and i tried out the shimmer lotion. it was totally cool! really. i think there's some silver dust mixed in with the lotion or something. >< whee yayy it rox.
and then we went to popular at bras basah complex. that building is really ratty. but popular itself is really nice. they have about 4 or 5 storeys. wow. >< such a waste locating it in a ratty old building.
ooooh and we met my dad for dinner at this authentic yunnan restaurant called city cuisine or something like that. hee. omg i really luv their mushroom steamboat! they used so many different types of mushrooms: shiitake, enoki, abalone mushroom, king oyster mushroom and some other kind of fungi. wow. from now on, i luv mushrooms. >< ohhh and there was this special mushroom called lao ren tou mushroom, which translates to man-head mushroom. haha. cute name right? and it tasted fabulous too! apparently it's only available this season. and it grows on mountaintops. haha. and we tried the tianqi chicken soup also. nice and peppery. (: ohhh and the tea rocked too. sour plum tea. haha. and the dessert was eight treasure rice. it was...well... sticky. yeah. glutinous rice.
yayy i have three tickets to the preview of pride and prejudice. (: going with nise and valencia! whee. can't wait (: haha.
it appears that i fill my hols with nothing but shopping and pigging out and of course, mugging for jap. my least favourite hol activity. ah wells. one more week to go! jiayou nicole! (: haha.

oh yes and i forgot to mention... nise gave me this cute little strawberry keychain from cameron highlands. (: it's really cute. i'm naming it strawberry. [look at some of my toys' names and you will notice a trend... eg. potato, strawberry, marshmallow, mini mango, baby berry, etc. haha]and i received a jar of strawberry jam and some teacino too! haha the teacino rox. (: whee. yayy!
